Need vendors?

Finding handymen in San Francisco and reducing your vendor list as a Real estate agent

Realtors looking for handymen

It’s typical that the average real estate agent will have their hands full with vendors during various stages of the sale; it can be a tedious juggling act. One way to help reduce the amount of digging and researching one may need to find a qualified pro is to use some of the various gig economy outfits. Some may be far more beneficial than you think, being a great spot with various well-vetted pros (plumbing, electrical, and, more) or more simplistic work at a lower cost (painting, landscaping, cleaning.)

The first place I would recommend would be Taskrabbit. The beauty of Taskrabbit is you can have either a single work relationship based on the project, or you can have your new go-to vendor for longer more ongoing projects.

The rating system is accurate, and many TaskRabbits have a lengthy history showing their competence and excellence in the given field. You can find a Tasker of your choice based on rating, availability, and personal rate, open a chat dialogue with them to discuss a project, and then book to hire. Typical rates may fluctuate between $30-$150 an hour based on job, skills, and experience. Often there is no minimum, Taskrabbit is fully ensured, and acts as payment escrow and mediator in case of disputes.

But there is more too. Not just Taskrabbit, but Also Thumbtack, Handy, are other sites that have a similar working mechanism to Taskrabbit. Find people that you need to do work, and hire accordingly.

Another site worth mentioning is Lugg . Lugg is a moving and hauling company.

So in summary, in order to reduce your vendor list it may be wise to check out the following gig companies
General handymen:
Taskrabbit
Thumbtack
Handy

Moving only:
Lugg

With these convenient platforms, the time saved will convert to less hassle, the ability to free yourself up to generate more leads and make more sales. This is just another step in the process of becoming a more efficient and professional Realtor.
